What You Can Expect

The Ulsan Rock Course in Mt. Seorak is popular throughout the year. It is suitable for autumn leaves from mid-October to early November. It can be recommended as the best place to feel the folage of Mt.

However, please refer to the course that goes up from the shaking rock to Ulsanbawi top with many stairs and some slopes.

The Shinheungsa-Heundeulbawi (Gyejoam) section starts with a gentle path up the valley and has a way through the deck, but it takes about an hour to go to a little sloped dirt road and a stone road. Although the forest is not lush, it is a harmonious course with granite, and you can see temples such as Anyangam, Naewonam, and Gyejoam. This course is not too much for children and elderly people to visit, and it is a spectacular tour of autumn leaves in spring (May) and autumn season (October to November).

The swaying rock(Heundeulbawi) (Gyejoam temple) to Ulsanbawi, which is 873m above sea level, must be raised 1.5 kilometers from the swaying rock( and about an hour to climb up the steep rock hill). In addition, for iron stairs, there is a narrow and steep slope that requires attention to move.

Note : Travel and trekking insurance is not included in the tour. Outdoors Korea will not accept responsibility if the participant has health issues or disabilities which were not disclosed  at the time of booking.  Outdoors Korea also has the right to reject bookings if a participant is found to be unfit to trek  .
